Richard Fannan has represented employers in a wide variety of actions and has successfully defended employers in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, disability and wrongful termination claims in federal and state courts. He has also represented businesses in breach of fiduciary duty, unfair competition, interference with prospective business opportunity, wage and hour violations (including class action allegations), and other contractual and tort claims. He has extensive jury trial experience and recently was retained as a jury selection expert in a multi-million dollar case.

In addition to employment related work, Mr. Fannan has represented financial institutions in bad faith and breach of contract claims. He has also represented clients in trademark, copyright, and patent infringement actions for both plaintiffs and defendants and has successfully argued trademark infringement claims before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

While attending the University of California at Berkeley (Boalt Hall), Mr. Fannan was a member of the Order of the Coif and a Note and Comment Editor of the California Law Review.
