Tom Curry's practice focuses on all aspects of public agency law with an emphasis on complex land use matters. He served for more than 20 years as the City Attorney for the City of Livermore. He also served as Assistant City Attorney of Walnut Creek and Deputy City Attorney of Hayward. He previously has served as City Attorney for San Ramon, Sonoma, and Brentwood and is currently City Attorney for Piedmont.

Mr. Curry offers extensive trial experience in CEQA, land use, the Public Records Act, the Brown Act and general municipal issues. He has been involved in promulgating claims administration procedures, Municipal Codes, personnel rules, growth control policies, litigation status reports, sign ordinances, and FLSA issues.

Mr. Curry is very active in the League of California Cities and is a frequent presenter at conferences for organizations including the California Transit Authority, California Joint Powers Risk Management Authority, and the California State Bar.

Mr. Curry has served as a professor of law at John F. Kennedy University and has lectured at U.C. Boalt Hall.
