Employee performance evaluation is one of the most critical functions of a supervisor and is a basic expectation of any one in a supervisory role.  The purpose of employee performance evaluation is to provide a systematic evaluation of the employee’s contribution to the organization.  Human resources plays a key role in any effective evaluation system, and in ensuring that supervisors are fulfilling their obligations in evaluating employees.
