General Municipal Law Associate - Oakland

Burke, William & Sorensen's Public Law Group has an immediate need in its Oakland office for a skilled and motivated attorney with experience advising public agencies in the areas of general municipal law, the Brown Act, conflicts of interest, public contracts, code enforcement, land use, and CEQA.  The preferred candidate will have acted as an assistant or deputy city attorney, and will have regularly represented planning commissions or equivalent public bodies. 

Public Law Associate Attorney (General Municipal Law, Real Estate, Transactions) - San Rafael

Burke, Williams & Sorensen, LLP is seeking a skilled and motivated associate attorney with 1 to 3 years of experience in representing public agencies in both advisory and litigation matters.  The preferred candidate should have performed legal research, reviewed and drafted contracts, ordinances and resolutions, and litigated matters on behalf of public entities, and have an interest in city attorney work.
