Litigation Associate – Los Angeles

Burke offers a collaborative environment where attorneys work alongside seasoned practitioners to deliver effective and strategic representation.  We are seeking an associate with 1-2 years of experience to join the expanding Litigation team.  The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent writing, research and analytical skills
• Support partners and senior attorneys in all phases of civil litigation, including case assessment, discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on substantive legal issues
• Manage case deadlines and ensure timely filings and compliance with procedural rules
• Participate in client interviews, witness preparation, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Thrive in a collegial, fast-paced environment with opportunities for early responsibility and direct client interaction
