Chandni Mistry is an associate in Burke’s San Francisco office and is a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment practice group. Her practice includes representing employers in state court, in federal court, and in arbitration proceedings. Chandni’s practice also includes experience in workplace investigations. She routinely conducts investigations into allegations of sexual harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination, and various other complaints.
Chandni adeptly manages litigation from inception through resolution. She is well-versed in drafting pleadings, conducting extensive discovery, arguing motions, negotiating settlements, and trial preparation. Chandni prides herself on communicating effectively and often with clients throughout the litigation cycle to protect their interests and achieve favorable outcomes.
Prior to joining Burke, Chandni practiced defense of claims related to workers’ compensation, general liability, premises liability, and personal injury in state and federal court and before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board. During law school, she gained substantial knowledge about real estate law matters as a legal assistant at a real estate litigation firm, where Chandni worked full-time while taking night classes to fulfill her J.D. degree requirements.
