Erica W. Griggs

Erica Griggs is an associate in Burke’s San Francisco office and a member of the firm’s Public Law practice group. Erica received her B.A. in English Literature from UCLA in 2020 and graduated cum laude from UC Law San Francisco (formerly known as UC Hastings) with a concentration in Environmental Law in 2024.

Prior to joining Burke, Erica worked as an associate for a boutique law firm in Berkeley, where she provided legal counsel to public agencies, nonprofits, and Tribes on water rights and compliance with federal and state environmental laws, including CWA, CERCLA, ESA, CEQA, and the public trust doctrine. She also assessed legal risks and regulatory pathways for stakeholders of environmental restoration and infrastructure projects.
