We are seeking an associate with 2-5 years of experience to join our expanding Litigation team in the Oakland office. This position follows a hybrid schedule, with a minimum of two days per week in the Oakland office.

The ideal candidate will have experience with:

  • Civil litigation, preferably involving public agencies, government tort liability, civil rights, constitutional law, personal injury, or complex civil matters
  • Support partners and senior attorneys in all phases of litigation, including case assessment, discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on substantive legal issues
  • Manage case deadlines and ensure timely filings and compliance with procedural rules
  • Participate in client interviews, witness preparation, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation
  • Strong work ethic, self-starter mentality, and team-oriented mindset
  • Admission to the State Bar of California

he anticipated base salary range for this position is $150,000–$175,000, plus annual performance-based bonuses. Actual compensation will depend on experience and qualifications.  The actual salary within that range will depend on the selected candidate’s years of practice and experience.
