Office Services Clerk – Riverside
Jun 23, 2026Burke, Williams & Sorensen, LLP is seeking a full-time Office Services Clerk to join its Riverside office. This is a non-exempt, 8-hour/day position with an expectation to work five days on-site. The ideal candidate will bring 1–2 years of experience in a legal or professional services environment and demonstrate exceptional professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to client service and office support.
Description of Responsibilities:
Essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Processes incoming and outgoing mail
- Handles all internal mail delivery and pick up
- Arranges for UPS/USPS/FedEx and messenger services
- Handles large print, scans and/or copy jobs, faxing, stocks paper at printer stations, orders and stocks office supplies, assists with office moves and conference room set-up
- Performs other general administrative duties as assigned
- Assists with other department activities as needed, and performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Work closely with Office Management on new hire onboarding and office setup logistics
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or administrative training preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years prior office services experience, preferably in a law firm
- Must have a competent working knowledge of all functions of copy, printing, binding, scanning and mailing equipment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, staff, and vendors.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with high attention to detail.
- Proven reliability, discretion, and commitment to maintaining a professional front-office presence.
- Position also requires the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines, adapt to a fast paced high pressure environment to achieve business goals and objectives
- Candidate must be a self-starter who can work well under minimal supervision as well as take a proactive approach in being team oriented
- Strong problem-solving skills, takes initiative and uses good judgment, excellent follow-up skills
Compensation:
The pay range for this role is the hourly equivalent of $55,000.00-$70,000.00 annually. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, skillset, and successful track record. Annual discretionary bonuses, competitive health insurance benefits, and 401 (k) with a partial match are offered when individuals are eligible for benefits.
