Adam J. Stephens

Adam Stephens is an associate in Burke’s Labor and Employment practice group. His practice primarily focuses on defending employers in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour matters, including PAGA, and class & collective actions.

Prior to joining Burke, Adam practiced as an associate litigation attorney in the Bay Area. Adam has prior experience in employment, business, personal injury, and real estate litigation.

Adam graduated from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law (now UC Law SF). During law school, Adam clerked for the California Attorneys’ General Office, was a member of the UC Hastings Moot Court Team, editor for the UC Hastings Science and Technology Law Journal, student associate at the UC Hastings Startup Legal Garage, and graduated with a concentration in Health Law. Before law school, Adam received his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Oregon.
