Caitlin Cozine

Caitlin Cozine is an associate in Burke’s Oakland office and a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Her practice focuses on representing counties, cities, and other public entities in complex civil litigation. She also supports the firm’s Employment Law Practice Group, where she works on matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour claims.

Caitlin earned her J.D. from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings). She received her B.A. in History from the University of California, Berkeley.

During law school, Caitlin served as a Senior Staff Editor for the UC Law Business Journal and received a CALI award in Employment Discrimination. She also provided pro bono legal services in housing matters for a local nonprofit, assisting underserved communities.

Outside of her legal practice, Caitlin serves on the Board of Directors of Learning Enterprises, an international nonprofit focused on educational access and cross-cultural exchange. In her free time, she enjoys hot yoga sculpt, skiing, and exploring new places – often through their local food scene.
