Shaikha Shahtaj

Shaikha Shahtaj is an associate in Burke’s Labor and Employment practice group. Shaikha advises and represents public entity clients on a variety of matters, including disciplinary matters, unfair labor practices, civil litigation related to discrimination and whistleblower complaints, MOU grievances, contract negotiations, and arbitrations.

Shaikha earned her J.D. from the University of California, Davis (King Hall) in 2022.  During law school, Shaikha externed for the Honorable Louis R. Mauro of the California Third District Court of Appeal

Prior to joining Burke, Shaikha served as a Labor Relations Consultant for the University of California, Davis. Shaikha obtained a B.A. in International Relations from UC Davis in 2019.
