Veronica Gray

Veronica began her legal career at a municipal law firm representing the City of Santa Cruz and other public agencies local to the South Bay and the Santa Cruz areas where she advised on First Amendment issues, drafted ordinances, resolutions, and agenda reports, and reviewed contracts.  Veronica also handled Gun Violence Restraining Order hearings and Public Record Act requests.

Veronica earned her J.D. from UC Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) with a concentration in Government Law in 2022.  While in law school, Veronica was an executive editor on the UC Law Constitutional Quarterly Law Journal and received a CALI award for the highest grade in Constitutional Law I.  Veronica joined the UC Law SF’s Legislation Clinic where she externed with State Senator Henry Stern.  During the summers, Veronica interned at the San Francisco’s Department of Police Accountability and the Construction and Public Contracting team of the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office.  In 2019, Veronica received her B.A. in Politics from UC Santa Cruz, where she focused on American elections and election policy.
