Robin M. Pearson

Robin Pearson is an experienced trial lawyer who has effectively litigated cases involving a broad range of business and commercial matters.  She has experience in contract disputes, unfair business practices, real estate, insurance, employment, professional liability, and construction disputes and creditors rights in federal bankruptcy.  Robin has argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal and is also an accomplished negotiator with extensive mediation experience.

Robin’s commercial litigation matters include Section 17200 matters alleging unfair business practices.  She has represented lending institutions, corporate and individual clients in breach of contract actions.  In addition, Robin has litigated cases involving trademark and trade secret issues relating to the use and ownership of proprietary inventions in diverse industries.  She has also represented title insurance companies relating to coverage disputes, insurance, bad faith, escrow negligence and fraud.

Robin’s real estate practice includes but is not limited to environmental impact review under the California Environmental Quality Act and the National Environmental Policy Act.  Her past representations include breach of contract and fraud cases, commercial landlord-tenant disputes, restrictive covenant and easement litigation, and quiet title, nuisance, adverse possession, zoning, and land use matters.

Robin’s construction litigation experience includes performance of construction contracts, defense of mechanic’s liens, stop notices, payment and performance bond claims, construction defect and insurance claims.  She also has experience obtaining private right of ways and easements, sitting wireless antennas and towers, securing permits for construction projects and negotiating pole attachments.

Finally, Robin has represented corporate and individual clients in race, gender, age, and disability discrimination cases.

  • Litigated disputes between telecom carrier and its customers involving billing disputes and fraud.
  • Represented medical carrier in a breach of contract dispute involving the development of a retail complex.
  • Litigation matter involving the trademark of a new blood pressure medication.
  • Defended large California law firm in a legal malpractice.
  • Represented foreign company in trademark dispute involving furniture designs.
  • Defended CEO of large international company in wrongful termination matter.
  • Defended Fortune 500 Company in commercial eviction and breach of lease litigation.
  • Defended small technology firm in copyright infringement and fraud matter.
