Robert C. Chojnacki

Robert Chojnacki is a senior associate in Burke’s Eminent Domain and Litigation Practice Groups.  He has represented clients in all aspects of litigation in California and federal courts.

Robert has extensive experience advising and litigating on behalf of public entities throughout California in cases involving eminent domain, inverse condemnation, and land use.  He also has experience defending clients in cases involving general liability, professional liability, personal injury, wrongful death, and aviation.

Robert has been trial counsel in five eminent domain jury trials, and two professional liability jury trials.

Robert is a graduate of U.C. San Diego, with honors in American History.  He obtained his J.D. from the University of California San Francisco, Hastings College of the Law.

Robert is admitted to practice in the state courts of California, Nevada, and Hawaii.  He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern and Central Districts of California.
